Mollywood 2006

[August, 2006]   Friends of ours, theater professionals, have a daughter named Molly.  They have put up a wooden stage in their back yard, and every summer the neighbors gather for "Mollywood," in which we are all supposed to provide some kind of entertainment.

Here is my 2006 contribution.  I am reading Marriott Edgar's poem "The Lion and Albert," to the bemusement of neighborhood kids.

Nellie generally plays her violin, but this year she was content to stand around mocking other people's performances.
